As summer approaches its end and welcomes fallen leaves and colder weather, Disney Dreamlight Valley has decided to celebrate with a brand-new event. The End of Summer event brings some exciting new crafting and cooking recipes that really nail the feeling of transitioning out of summer, promising to provide your valley with some fresh autumn vibes.     End of Summer event start and end dates

    The End of Summer event is live from September 4 – September 26. When the event ends, all of its unique crafting items or ingredients will cease to spawn in your game, so you’ll want to act fast! That being said, any of these crafting items or ingredients you’ve obtained prior to the end of the event will remain in your inventory for you to use at your leisure.

    How the End of Summer event works

    The End of Summer event is all about getting in the spirit of Fall. To sell this idea, you’re able to find new marshmallow ingredients scattered around your valley that can be used for crafting items and cooking two new recipes (more on these below).There are two types of marshmallows. Here’s where to find them and how to stock up.

    Blue Marshmallows

    These are found on the ground in random spots throughout your valley. You can use a level 3 Ancient Vacuum to pick these up if you prefer, saving you a lot of time spent wandering around.You’ll need 130 Blue Marshmallows to craft everything in the End of Summer event.

    Pink Marshmallows

    These spawn on three temporary bushes spawned randomly in your Plaza. Each time you pick them, you’ll receive 4 marshmallows for a total of 12 per respawn timer. Check them frequently to get more.You’ll need 130 Pink Marshmallows to craft everything in the End of Summer event.

    End of Summer event cooking recipes

    There are two new crafting recipes in the End of Summer event, and you’ll need to make quite a few of them to craft the new items. Here’s how to make both of them.

    • Roasted Marshmallows – Blue Marshmallows x2, Pink Marshmallows x2
    • S’mores – Blue Marshmallow, Pink Marshmallow, Wheat x2
    There are two new recipes in the End of Summer event.

    End of Summer event crafting recipes

    There are three new crafting recipes in the End of Summer event. Here’s how to craft them all.

    • Bonfire Pit – Roasted Marshmallow x15, Coal x10, Stone x50, Hardwood x50
    • Outdoor Lounge Chair – Roasted Marshmallow x5, Iron Ingot x5, Fabric x25
    • Vintage Cooler – S’mores x15, Iron Ingot x5, Snowballs x100

    End of Summer event duties and rewards

    Lastly, you can earn two new rewards by completing some duties in your Dreamlight Duties tab. Here are both duties alongside how to complete them and what you’ll earn for doing so.

    Savor Some Sweetness

    This is completed by eating 25 S’mores.Reward: Hiking Backpack

    Share Some Sweetness
