The AirPods 4 run for up to five hours on a full charge, and the charging case brings that figure to 30 hours.Both models feature Apple’s new H2 chip, which enables other high-end features on the AirPods 4 when paired with an iPhone running iOS 18, including Adaptive Audio and Conversation Awareness modes.The $179 version includes active noise cancellation mode. Along with the new AirPods 4 options, Apple also announced an AirPods Max refresh with a USB-C port, bringing the over-ear headphones in line with the rest of Apple’s current device lineup, all of which have ditched the Lightning port and swapped to USB-C instead. Multiple new colors are available with the new AirPods Max headphones, including purple and orange.The AirPods Max with USB-C also release September 20 and retail for $549, the same price as the originals.
