The Emperor of Mankind is going to keep players extremely busy once Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II comes out. On top of playing through the main story, players will also have the chance to play PvE modes or slay heretics in PvP.In a new gameplay video, we got a closer look at one of the operations players can undertake in Space Marines 2, which takes them to Planet Kadaku. Like inthe main campaign, players will be going against various Tyranids. The latest video shows three Space Marines doing just that while fighting a boss known as a Carnifex.

Video game actors in the SAG-AFTRA union are currently on strike over concerns about, among other things, artificial intelligence. Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of one of the game companies in the middle of the strike, Take-Two, said recently that he’s “pretty confident” the two sides can make a deal.”We deeply value our talent relationships, and historically we worked very successfully with all of the unions, including SAG-AFTRA,” Zelnick said during Take-Two’s latest earnings briefing. “We continue to work hard to come to a resolution on this current situation. In fact, we have common ground on 24 out of 25 proposals. So, I’m pretty confident that we can get to a deal that will be mutually beneficial.”

The Casting of Frank Stone is an odd name for a horror game. It almost implies we ought to know who Frank Stone is, or why his “casting” (whatever that means in this context) is notable. Supermassive, famous for cinematic horror games such as Until Dawn, The Quarry, and The Dark Pictures Anthology, has been handed the reins to Behaviour Interactive’s Dead By Daylight (DBD) franchise for a cinematic spin-off that plays much like its other popular games.That’s an exciting prospect in itself. Supermassive’s playable horror movies routinely make for terrific party games. You might not be aware, but Eli Roth directed a Borderlands movie based on the popular video game franchise and it comes out this week. The official review embargo lifts on August 8, however, social impressions were free to run wild and they are not the best.The film doesn’t adapt any specific Borderlands story but takes place in the world of Pandora and within the lore of the land. A major recognizable element is Jack Black as Claptrap, the game’s robotic guide, and your character’s sidekick. The main observation seems to be the comparison between that and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which was a reinvention of the team from the comics.
